I know I'm the odd one out here, but I always HATED My So-Called Life. I felt really insulted by it. It was a time when it was so cool to be apathetic and underachieving and gen-x this and slacker that. Bullshit. Who decided that life was sexy? I wasn't into that, and neither were any of my friends. We were busy busting our asses trying to get into college.
So anyway, there was this petition going around my AP European history class to Save My So-Called Life. When it got to me, I was a total asshole and wrote something similar to the above on it. I ruined their petition. And their so-called lives, I guess.
