The revolution will not be blogavised

To give you an idea of how this all started, let's go back to the year 1968, when the smash musical Hair stormed onto Broadway and taught millions of Americans to just go ahead and let the sunshine in.

Then, ten years after that, Eti and Nick were born, and another quarter century after that, they met at Nick's birthday dinner. After swapping enough emails and instant messages to get them both fired (though not yet, unfortunately), they figured it was time to start a blog. How else to suck the rest of the world into their twisted vortex of in-jokes, slang, and shorthand rooted in the debased muck of pop culture? Well, except for inviting everyone in the world over to hang out with them, and frankly they don't have enough chairs. (Plus "everyone in the world" would include that one guy who smells weird and drinks all the beer.)

Anyway, the point is that they had a lot to say about TV, movies, music, and the occasional gynecologist visit, and they were getting tired of just saying these things to each other. So this is where Pop Whore comes in -- a blog/podcast that will enable these two crazy kids (and by "crazy" we mean "consistently skipping their meds") to provide reading pleasure for the general public. However, men who experience reading pleasure for more than four hours should seek immediate medical attention.
